Juan Legido

Juan Legido (1922–1989) was a popular Spanish singer best known as the lead vocalist of Los Churumbeles de España, a group that gained fame in Latin America and Spain in the 1940s and 1950s. With his rich baritone voice and charismatic presence, Legido brought to life romantic pasodobles, rumbas, and Spanish folk songs. His rendition of classics like “El Gitano Señorón” and “Islas Canarias” made him a household name, and his recordings remain iconic examples of mid-century Spanish popular music.
